Art of Science 2009 Gallery

 These images are from the third Art of Science competition hosted by Princeton University.All entries were chosen for their artistic as well as scientific interest, all taken during the course of scientific research. First prize went to Celeste Nelson for the bright field microgaph of baby squid. read about this on the May 21st post of scienceblogs.com/bioephemera. Each of these images and more can be read about in relation to the scientific research being conducted. This is exciting material for anyone interested in forms from the natural world...even if we are talking about the micro world.
